I just found out today...September 19th is International Talk Like a Pirate Day! (Click the link for more information, arr!) I just think that's a really funny idea. If I remember, I'll likely participate. Mwahahaha >:-)

There's been a lot of press lately that the planet Mars is closer to Earth now than it has been for almost 60,000 years. That's an amazing number to consider. The way I figure it, recorded human civilization only dates back maybe 8 or 9,000 years or so.
