By now, you've probably seen the Miller beer ads featuring Bob Odenkirk (I think that's his name) toting Miller for "President of Beers". Especially the last ad, having a debate against a Clydesdale horse.
Now, Budweiser has countered the campaign with their chameleons, talking about the "out-of-work comedian" vs. the Clydesdale, saying how they'd vote for the majestic horse, versus the "part of a horse". (Though I think in the TV ads they refer to him as "annoying spokesperson".) Frickin' hilarious. I can't wait to see if this sort of thing continues. Actually, if real politics worked this way, I might be more interested in it. Not just general mud-slinging, of course - that's always been a part of it - but here at least there's some humor. As long as it doesn't just degenerate into a "yo' mama" match.
